Jim & Mary Pruett

"When Mary and I got into the Longhorn business 6 years ago, we bought our first bull and a few heifers from Col. Eddie & Joyce Wood. Eddie shared the "ins and outs" of the cattle and we made some dear friends. Since then, our dealings with people we have bought cattle from have been very impersonal and sometimes downright frustrating. If it haden't been for the love of longhorns, we would have sold out and found something else to do. We recently met Bear Davidson through a bull he had listed for sale on facebook and decided to drive to G&G Longhorns to pick him up. Upon arriving, Bear gave us a ranch tour and introduced us to our new bull "Repo Man". Afterwards, he took us out to a real nice dinner and agreed to meet us back at G&G at 6am Sunday morning so we could load and get an early start back to God's Country (Oklahoma). I asked him about the registration papers, and he told me he had already sent them in. Not since we've dealth with the Woods has anyone done that for us. It's a small thing,, but much apperciated. We didn't get 30 minutes down the road when we had truck trouble. Bear offered to pick up our trailer and bull and put us up for the night while the truck was being fixed: but the GOod Lord sent us help of another fasion and we were down the road by that afternoon. Bear stayed in tough with us until after we got home making sure we were ok. If you want more than just "a purchase" next time you buy a longhorn, G&G is the place to call. Like I told Bear, "I don't mind telling good things on good folks""
